- TRICK PHOTO OVERLOAD: If a practitioner has nothing to show in their listing other than some interesting stock photography (available for purchase at any of the dozens of major stock photography sites online), then what exactly are they selling? In order for a spell to be extremely potent, in requires a physical object. Sure, magickal looking photos are nice eye candy, but they have nothing to do with spells or magick. There should be crisp, clear photos of the object you are buying. After all, you are investing in a power OBJECT, not a graphics show. Also, all of the flame shows and light shows have nothing to do with paranormal activity. First of all, spirits do not put on light shows every time a camera is turned on them---even the most powerful spirits. These are simple camera tricks, and I am very surprised that people are falling for them.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DJINN VAMPIRE. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GYPSY DJINN. THERE IS NO HISTORICAL CONNECTION BETWEEN WITCHES AND DJINN ETC: It makes me laugh when I see all of these various separate energies, entities, and magickal systems smashed together. It does not make an iota of sense. This one boggles me, yet it is all over the metaphysical category. I don't understand how people can take two separate magickal systems, smash them together and act like they have some historical context. Do my fellow metaphysical sellers think people are this dim? Are people this dim? I am stumped. This type of lying makes my hair stand on end.As I always say, please educate yourselves before throwing your money out the window.
- KNOW YOUR JEWELRY!
2. Does it look like a piece of Tibetan or Turkoman jewelry? Go to Google Image Search and type in these terms: "turkoman ring" and "tibetan ring". You will quickly learn where many non-legitimate metaphysical sellers are getting their jewelry. It's beautiful jewelry, don't get me wrong--but just because it's unusual doesn't mean it's haunted, Djinn bound, spell cast etc. I collect rings for myself because I love to wear unusual rings, so I know a lot about ethnic jewelery. The Tibetan and Turkoman pieces are very unusual looking and I see a lot of swindlers trying to sell them as Djinn bound and whatnot. What Tibet has to do with Djinn is also beyond me.
- IF THERE IS NO MAGICK PUT INTO THE TALISMAN, HOW CAN IT BE A MAGICKAL ITEM? I know I must have said this a dozen times, but it bears repeating. Magick requires WORK. You can go ahead and purchase a bead or a store bought spellcast trinket, but it is obvious that no effort went into it. Look back at the traditions of mages and true followers of the craft and you will see that they only offered handmade, truly cast items. It takes blood, sweat, and tears....not a trip to the trinket section of your local Target. I don't care if some people read my guides and their feathers get ruffled. I practice authentic magick and am offended by those who are turning thousands of years of spell craft on it's head.
- HAUNTED DOLLS DO NOT GRANT WISHES: Who
the heck invented this idea? I have never heard of such a thing. Yes,
spirit affected items can connect with their owners and create changes
on par with spells....but where is this MASSIVE INFLUX of wish
granting dolls coming from? I have had spirits that are helpful and
grant wishes, but they are just about as rare as Djinn. Besides, all of
these "wish granting" dolls look like cheap fleamarket dolls from the
late 1980s' and 1990s. Dolls that have spirits with extreme and
unusual powers are usually unusual dolls themselves. I have been
collecting for over 30 years and have never seen as many "wish
granting" dolls in my life as there are up at auction in a week.
- NOTHING ON THE PLANET WILL GRANT ALL OF YOUR WISHES:
Please, my friends do not believe these sellers that tell you that
their super special item will make you rich, young, shapeshift, fly,
see the future, change colors, grow wings, and poop ice cream. Spells
work wonders, but there is no object in the world that will give you
EVERY power in the world all for a starting bid of 99 cents. If it
sounds outlandish, IT IS OUTLANDISH.
YOU CANNOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF YOUR DECEASED PET BOUND TO A RING (OR ANY OTHER OBJECT FOR THAT MATTER): Anyone who promises to bind the spirit of your deceased pet to an object is not only dishonest, but a cruel human being. As an animal lover, this sort of claim really makes me upset. I know all of the ways of magick, and I can tell you with all honesty that no one on this planet can bind the spirit of your beloved pet to an object. Not only is it not possible, but it is a horrible and misleading false promise to make someone. Even if it WERE possible (and it is not), no practitioner with any sense of morals would even think of offering such a service. It's funny that anyone proclaiming to have a sense of the magickal realms would have no belief in karma. I suppose karma has to hit before you acknowledge its reality.
