This is my recommended reading list for anyone who is ready to see their 'reality' a little differently. Books that have helped me when I've felt stuck, or down, or confused about the life I was creating for myself. So, in no particular order:

1. ASK AND IT IS GIVEN: Learning To Manifest Your Desires by Esther and Jerry Hicks

This is one of those books that you will not want to just read once and put aside - it is like a handy reference guide to manifesting your desires based on the Law of Attraction. The idea behind manifestation, according to metaphysical law, is that you need to hold yourself within vibrational harmony with your desires in order to receive their manifestation. In other words you get what you think (and feel) about and focus on, whether you want it or not. The more you think about something, the more you vibrate like it; the more you vibrate like it, the more of that which is like it is attracted to you. We are vibrational beings and we are broadcasting our vibrational signals whether we are aware of it or not.

Abraham, channelled through Esther Hicks, tells us that we have the inate ability to ALLOW the Well-being of this Universe to flow steadily and unrestricted into our experience. We create resistance when we go into fear, anxiety, beliefs about lack etc and this lowers our vibration and cuts off our flow to manifesting our desires. You can FEEL whether you are allowing your connection to Source Energy or not. In other words, the better you feel, the more you are allowing your connection; the worse you feel, the less you are allowing your connection. This is a fabulous book to keep dipping into whenever you feel low. Easy to read and understand, it will help you reach for the best feeling you can achieve wherever you happen to be right now on the emotional scale.

2. BUSTING LOOSE FROM THE MONEY GAME by Robert Scheinfeld

This book really does open up a portal to a new relationship with money and a different way of living. It challenges all our belief systems that we have grown up with regarding money and abundance, and gives us a set of simple rules to apply to chip away at those limiting beliefs. Such beliefs include the belief that we are the opposite to what we think we are, that money is "real", that it is limited, or that we have to keep bringing more of it in every time we spend it, that we have to work harder or smarter in order to make more of it etc. This limited phase of being he calls Phase 1, and is part of the "game" we set up in duality, on this gameboard of Life that is no more than a hologram that looks and feels very "real". If you have ever seen the film 'The Matrix', that gives an idea of the whole concept of our life on this planet being no more than an illusion. Once we poke through the illusion, like chipping away at the cloud cover that obscures the sun, we can get to the joy, abundance and our unlimited manifesting capabilities which are truly part of our divine nature as creator beings. That brings us to what he calls Phase 2 of the Money Game.

In Phase 2 we disregard all the rules and regulations we had been following faithfully but never questioned before. We can start playing a new game with a different set of rules. Once you bust loose there is no more worrying about money, about debt, about balancing your checkbook. There is no more asking yourself if you can afford something. No more worry or stress in trying to protect what you have saved or piled up already. As you expand into this way of living then other areas of your life will expand too. It doesn't happen overnight of course, but has a cumulative effect as you apply the new tools every day. The author has actually been living in Phase 2 for the past 3 years so he speaks from experience. It is not the only model to use, we can tweak it to suit ourselves, but he gives us a framework in which to start shifting our perspective, and to realise that everything we thought is real, is not. So rather than paying attention to the numbers, we pay attention to how we can bring more fun into life. None of the numbers are real, and money can show up in any way. A truly excellent book which is more than just about money.

3. BRINGERS OF THE DAWN - Teachings from the Pleiadians by Barbara Marciniak

This book has been around a long time now, but I include it as it has become something of a classic and so worth reading if you have never read it. Her second book EARTH is also recommended. Barbara's channelled material on audio cassette rather than her books was my first contact with anything like this sort of material. It changed the way I perceived reality all those years ago and really was the fork in the road when I left all religions behind (and I had become involved with a lot of different religions in the past). It struck a chord with me, so I began exploring her books and other channelled material from this time on. It resonated with what I felt I already "knew" but had forgotten, and I've found when lending this book to people they either resonate with it straight away or they find it is too much of a stretch for them to have to question what they have always believed about "reality", so it is not for everyone. I wasn't so keen on her other books although her first two I loved reading and have read many times.

There is so much in this book it is difficult to know where to start, but basically it is for those lightworkers who are ready to take the next step into the new paradigm, and for those who are on the ascension path, or at least understand that we live in a multidimensional reality and that our DNA is mutating. If you are familiar with the Kryon material then you may also enjoy the very different flavour of the Pleiadian transmissions.

4. THE KRYON BOOKS (all of them) channeled by Lee Carol

The Kryon books have also been around for a long time and have become part of the mainstream now, plus translated into many languages. Too many titles have been published to mention them all, but it's a good idea to start at the beginning with Book 1 'The End Times', Book 2 'Don't Think Like a Human', Book 3 'Alchemy of the Human Spirit' and so on. Like the other channelled books it helped fill in the pieces of the jigsaw and trigger my remembrance, and acted as a cheerleader to keep going at times. What I love about channelings is that you can read them more than once and discover some new stuff each time. It is not like head knowledge, but as we are constantly changing and evolving I find that I get to appreciate the bits I missed on first reading that maybe didn't feel that relevant at the time.

5. TOBIAS MATERIALS - The Creator Series: New Tools for Our New Spiritual Journey channeled by Geoffrey Hoppe

This is the only book that has been published so far of the Tobias channelings as the following channels are all in audio cassette or CD format, but it is a good place to start if you are unfamiliar with the ascension material. The Crimson Circle has come a long way since those days, and I have personally gained much from the channels over the years.

6. THE LOST TEACHINGS OF ATLANTIS : The Children of The Law of One by Jon Peniel

Hilariously funny in places and an entertaining read, it tells the true story of Jon Peniel's experiences at an ancient monastery when he went out in search of Shangri-lah. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction and this book will also "give you reason to ponder the nature of life, the Universe, your beliefs, and the potentials that exist within your own personal life."

7. WELCOME HOME - THE NEW PLANET EARTH by Steve Rother channeling 'The Group'

This book includes a lot of information on various topics and is divided into four sections 1) Current Events - a cosmic view of where we are, how we got here and where we are heading, 2) The New Planet Earth - the new attributes of life in the 5th dimension and how we can apply them, 3) Questions and answers on a wide range of topics taken from live presentations, 4) Where do we go from here? Prepare to be surprised !
This is a good book to get an overview of most things ascension-related and what the new energy and new earth is all about, as well as information on the 'Crystal Children' who are incarnating on the planet during these times.
