Characters

Megaman & Friends

Megaman Volnutt-A 14-year old kid who was found alone at a dig site as a baby, and was brought up by the Caskets. He can’t remember his past.

Roll Casket-Granddaughter of the famous digger, Barrell Casket, she is a mechanical genius abut Megaman’s age. Her parents disappeared at a dig site.

Barrell Casket-Roll’s grandfather (affectionately called Gramps), the famous digger raised Roll as his own. He is very wise, and helps Roll and Megaman on their digs when he can.

Data-This mecha-monkey is only understood by Megaman, nevertheless, he is very helpful. He save your game, and can heal you too.

The Bonne Family

Teasel-The oldest of the Bonnes, he comes up with most of the Bonnes plans. He has a knack for toys, animals, and model planes.

Miss Tron-14 year old Tron is a mechanical whiz, so she designs all of the Bonnes robots. She secretly loves Megaman, but she won’t admit it!

Bomb-Bomb Bonne is the youngest in the family, but not the weakest! He is really big, but inside he’s just a big ol’ baby.

The Servebots-These Lego-headed robots were built by Miss Tron to do here bidding, however they can also think on their own.
Points of Interest

Cardon Forest-This is where you crash-land on Kattalox.

Apple Market-This the shopping arcade where you’ll find the Junk Shop, the bakery, and Hipbone (a girly dress store).

Junk Shop-Here you can buy buster parts, shield repair, an energy canteen (which I suggest buying early on), health, and better armor. I suggest you buy more health, extra packs for the canteen, and better buster parts, before fighting a boss.

Downtown-This is an area you’ll come to a lot. It connects City Hall, Uptown, Apple Market, and the Old City, together.

City Hall-This where you’ll find the Mayor, the bank, and the police office.

Cardon Ruins-This is the first Sub-Gate Roll and Megaman visit, and it holds the most helpful items too.

Uptown-You can find the KTOX TV here, as well as the boat shop and the hospital.

Old City-Here, you’ll fight Bruno, find Sub-City 1, and a portal to the Main Gate.

Main Gate-This is basically the final area of the game. Inside the Main Gate are a giant refractor, and Megaman Juno.

Walkthrough

1.) The Tower

At the start of the game you will be in a large tower. Roll will guide you through (it’s basically a tutorial, preparing you for the rest of the game).

Boss: Hanmurudoll-Just run out of the way of its attack and shoot it continuously, and you’ll be fine!
1. Smash you!

2.) The Island

After this you’ll land on Kattalox Island. Go past the sign that say, “To Town”. Talk to Gramps, then head past the sign and keep going to find a door marked “N”. Head in to find Apple Market!

3.) Rescue the Junk Shop Man

Search the trash cans and boxes to find some zenny and the Broken Cleaner. Go to the Junk Shop and talk the Junk Shop Lady. Then, head through the door marked “S”. Now look around to find an igloo-shaped building (this is Sub-Ruin 1). Go inside and turn left, destroy the reaverbot in your way, then inspect the hole in the wall to get some zenny. Now run down the halls, obliterating the many reaverbots, then jump up on the ledge and talk to the Junk Shop Man.

4.) STUFF!!!

Leave Sub-Ruins 1 and go to the Junk Shop. Talk to the Junk Shop lady to get the Mine Parts Kit. The Junk Shop Couple will also let you keep the busted up car outside Sub-Ruins 1. Head outside and talk to roll. She’ll get the car running and give the Splash Mine special weapon. After that, a police man will give you your Citizens Card!

5.) Find Gramps

But the police man has bad news too; there have been reports about pirates on the island! Roll will tell you to go find Gramps, so head to Apple Market. There will be three punks blocking the door so walk up to them slowly (hold Down C while pressing up on the control stick) to scare them away. Go through the door they block to enter Downtown! As you enter, you’ll find Tron talking to three Servebots. After that, search all the Downtown trash cans here to find some zenny and the broken motor. When your ready head through the door marked “N” to enter City Hall! Run around here to find some street on a hill. Run up the hill to find City Hall (the building not the area). Talk to the police man on the right of the entrance to find Gramps and Mayor Amelia. After you talk to them you witness Tron being chased by a dog! Run Downtown to find her up lamppost. Talk to her, and then talk to the dog. The dog will stop barking at Tron and she’ll come down. After that head back to Roll.

6.) Pirates!!!

Talk to Roll and tell her Gramps is alright. But, suddenly you’ll be interrupted by laser-fire. Pirates! Roll will run off to find Gramps, and you have to follow her. Before you go Downtown, speak to Data in Apple Market to save and replenish you health. Once Downtown, you’ll face the game’s second and third boss!

Bosses: Blumbears-These three tanks have interesting qualities;
Red-Built for Combat, Blue-Built for Speed, Yellow-Built for Endurance
1.    Shoot with their machine guns.
2.    Throw bomb from the tank entrances.
They will pass around the key to the gate blocking City Hall, so find out which one has it and shoot, shoot, shoot!!!

After you get the key, Miss Tron will come in riding the Feldynaut!

Boss: Feldynaut-This octopus-like robot has several attacks.
1.    Shoot laser in a straight line.
2.    Shoot laser in a short burst.
3.    Shoot out a stream of bombs.
4.    Ram you.
5.    Fire a homing-shockwave.
If you run out of the way of the straight attacks and jump over the laser bursts, you’ll be fine if you keep shooting!

7.) Raid on City Hall!

After you beat the Feldynaut, search the Downtown trash cans to find the Blumbear Parts, and then talk to Data at the gate to save and get healed. Head through gate to witness City Hall being attacked!

Mini-Boss: Bonne Bots-They have two types of robots, ones that fly, and ones that don’t.
1.    Flyers
A.    Drop bombs.
B.    Bring in ground-bots!
2.    Non-flyers
A.    Punch
B.    Ram.
Take out the flyers first so no more ground-bots will come into battle. After that is done destroy the robots attacking City Hall, and then destroy the rest.

8.) Clozer Woods Battle

After this is done Megaman and Roll will go talk to Gramps and Mayor Amelia. Mayor Amelia will give you a Class B Diggers’ License! The inspector will barge in to tell you that the prates are causing trouble in Clozer Woods. Megaman will turn to leave, but Roll will interrupt. She finished working on the car! The Support Car can do many things;
1.    Roll
A.    Talk to Roll
B.    Change your special weapon
C.    Develop items
D.    Drive to other areas you’ve been to
2.    Data
A.    Talk to Data
B.    Recharge your energy
C.    Save
After you talk to Roll she’ll give you a walkie-talkie to call her so she can pick you up. Now, head to the door marked, “N” in City Hall. Once in Clozer Woods you’ll be attacked be Leopordos (big tanks built by the Bonnes. Destroy them until you come to a couple of raised platforms. The one on the left has a few turrets and a house on it (near the house is a box containing a Safety Helmet). Continue on to find a cave-entrance-like door. Go through to the second part of Clozer. Defeat to Leopordos and turn right to find another door and Data. Talk to Data to save and heal, then go through the door. Take the two tanks ahead, the jump into the pit.

Boss: Marlwolf-Not too many tough attacks in this one;
1.    Shoots a big green orb at you
2.    Throws a bomb
3.    Shoots out slow-flying bombs
Use L, R/Z to avoid the orbs, shoot the bombs, and run out of the way of the missiles. First, shoot the Marlwolf’s treads to slow it down, then when its cockpit door open shoot it. There are a few Leopordos around, so dispose of them if you wish.

9.) Dig in Cardon Forest!

After you beat the Marlwolf, Teasel will fly away on his blimp, the Gesellchaft. Head out of the pit to get called by Roll. Head back to City Hall to talk to Mayor Amelia (she’ll give you a Class A Diggers’ License). Now call Roll on the walkie-talkie and select support car. Have her drive to Cardon Forest. From here, go south; where you’ll find a clearing (hear you’ll find Sub-Ruins 2 in the little crevice to the left). Talk to the lady in front of the door, and then go inside. Great, more Leopordos! Roll while drive in with the Support Car, so you can use the car as a shield from the tanks’ attacks. Destroy all the tanks and turrets as you progress, until you come to a fence, which Roll will bust down. Head the fence to find a big building. If your curios, head inside. If not, head inside anyway. Once inside turn right, and inspect the console near the yellow refractor. From here, turn right again and go through the door into a large room that contains three beehives filled with reaverbots, and two reaverbots lurking around on the floor. Destroy the first beehive, and then jump over to where it used to be. Shoot the green-ish plank to knock it over, and then use it as a bridge. Destroy the second beehive and jump to where it used to be, and then turn right to find the first starter key! Jump back to the platform you were just on, then go to the right and jump on that one. Then shoot another plank, but don’t over to the platform it reaches to yet. Shoot the beehive on that platform first. Now jump over to, and run right to a door and go through it. Here you’ll find a bunch of flying reaverbots, a switch, and a hole. Destroy the reaverbots;                  and then inspect the hole and the switch. The switch will turn on a conveyor belt. Now find a path way and turn left to find a chest. Open it to find a Grenade Kit. Now turn right to go up a hill to find a room filled with icy and raised platforms. Quickly run over the ice, and eventually you’ll reach a platform with a chest on it. The ice under it will break, causing it to hit the conveyor belt. It will continue moving until it hit a compactor. The chest will explode, revealing another starter key! Now head back to the ice room, and jump across the platforms you went to, and you’ll reach a door. Go through the door to reach a balcony overlooking the main room. At the edge of the balcony is a chest containing the spring set. Continue along the balcony to find a hole. Inspect it. Then go through the door ahead. The next room has three switches and three force fields. Start on the left, the run criss-cross while stepping on the switches, then run into the corridor where that the force field blocked. Run down the hall to find…the final key!!! Head back to the console in the dungeon’s first room to shut off the force field!

9 and a 1/2.) Preparation

When you leave the Sub-Gate, call Roll. Talk to her and select Item Development. She’ll turn the Spring Set into the Jump Springs (they let you jump higher), she’ll turn the Grenade Kit into the Grenade Arm special weapon, and she’ll turn the Safety Helmet into the Helmet, and turn the Blumbear Parts into the Machine Buster (which you might want to equip)!

10.) Yo ho! Battle for Lake Jyun!

Now have Roll drive you Downtown, then head west to enter Uptown! Turn right and search the trash cans near the hospital to find the Broken Propeller. Quickly call Roll and select Item Development again. She’ll turn the Broken Motor, Propeller, and Cleaner, into the Vacuum Arm! I suggest upgrade this to its maximum. If you do, it can suck up any zenny in the room your in! Get out of the Support Car and turn left to find the boat shop. Head inside, turn right, and then turn all the way around to find the door that leads to a concrete dock. Once outside you’ll find a boat. Talk to the guy next to the boat and two options will pop up. Select “Call Roll” and Roll will come to fix up the boat. The boat shop owner will let you use it to get to the Lake Jyun Sub-Gate! Yippee! Once your ready, head out the other door in the boat shop to find your boat and Data. Save and heal with Data, then get prepared for a tough battle…

Mini-Boss: Zuuf Gereido-There are two types of the Bonne’s subs; red and yellow.
1.    Red
A.    Shoots torpedoes
2.    Yellow
A.    Fires missiles
Try to shoot the first Zuuf you see, and continue to shoot the others if you can. However, you should try to focus your fire power on their projectiles.
If you destroy the missiles and torpedoes before they hit you, no damage is taken! Ha hah!

Boss: Barukon Gelede-This big frog has a multitude of attacks.
1.    Shoots missiles from it’s head
2.    Uses it’s machine gun arms
3.    Fires bombs from the cannons on it’s back
4.    Fires those annoying green orbs
(At the begging of the battle, the Barukon will only fire missiles, and after a while Roll will ask to retreat. If you have a badly damaged boat, retreat) you can’t dodge the machine guns, so take them out ASAP. Shoot the bombs coming from the cannon to limit damage, and then attack the cannon shooting the bombs. After all the weapons are gone, a charger will appear, and start firing the green orbs. If you continue to shoot the charger, the green orbs won’t fire, and you’ll cause damage. After this, the Barukon will explode.

11.) Dig in Lake Jyun!

Before entering the Sub-Gate, talk to Data to save so you won’t have to fight the Barukon again! Then head inside through the door head. Head down the hall, while wasting the reaverbots. When you come to a big octagonal area, head down the hall to the right; in hear you’ll find the Old Hover Jets. Now go back to the large room and jump up the door to enter a large hall filled with ugly reaverbots. Destroy them, and head down the hall to the left. Before opening the chest at the end of the hall, turn right and inspect the hole in the wall (contains Joint Plug). THEN go open the chest to find a starter key…which means there’s a refractor here!!!! Now head back into the main hall and head down the hall to the right. A few feet down the hall, another reaverbot will be found, as well as a hole with a Ring in it! Continue down the hall to find a door that leads into a room filled with water. Head right and into a small chamber to find another starter key. Now move to a large entrance and go right to find a hall, and then jump over to the raised platform. Turn right, jump, then go into a small chamber to find the final starter key! Now find a smaller entrance that leads into a long hall filled with reaverbots. Run to the end of the hall to find a door. Head through to find a big circle room. Head around the big cylinder to find a door. Inside is a huge red refractor! Shut down the force field and leave.

Boss: Garudoriten-This huge yellow reaverbot has two attacks.
1.    Tackle/Lunge
2.    Shockwave
Jump out of the way of both attacks, then jump to shoot the head.

Now grab the zenny and leave!!!

12.) Dig in Clozer Woods (Part 1)

Call Roll, and she’ll take you back to the Flutter to fix it. Megaman will hook up the refractor, making the Flutter fly. Now talk to Roll, select “Go to R&D Room”. Once inside, select “Item Development”. She’ll turn the Joint Plug into the Adapter Plug (allows you to use three buster parts at once). Now, find a green door in the Flutter. Head inside and look around for a chest. Inside is the Bomb Schematic. Give this to Roll to make the Grand Grenade (equip it). Now talk to Data (you know the drill). Now talk to Roll and select “Go to Clozer Sub-Gate”.

13.) Dig in Clozer Woods (Part 2)

Head through the grey door in the Flutter. Do this to enter the Clozer Woods Sub-Gate. Turn around to find a door. Go through and jump into the pit in the next room. Turn around again to find a door to your right. Inside is a large computer. Insect it and sit through Megaman’s poor reading skills. Now leave this room and look for a second door in the area your in. Behind the door is a large room filled with green reaverbots. Destroy them and turn left. Behind this door are another reaverbot and two holes. Destroy the reaverbot, and inspect the two holes to get zenny and the Tele-lens. Now head straight ahead to find another door. Head thought to come out onto a balcony with a reaverbot and a chest. Blast the reaverbot and open the chest to get the Guidance Unit. Jump off the ledge to find two raised platforms with holes in them. Inspect them to find some zenny. Now head to the other side of the pit to find some more reaverbots and two more platforms with holes. Destroy the reaverbots and inspect the holes for zenny and the Antique Bell. Jump up the platforms to reach another chest (contains an ID Card). Now jump of the ledge and go to the right to find two doors. Go through the one on the left to enter the center of the Sub-Gate. Turn left, destroy the reaverbot and open the chest to find the Target Sensor. Now head back the door and go right. You’ll find some connected halls filled with reaverbots, with a door at the end. Go right to find a door. Enter to find your self in a really big room. Find a crevice to the left containing another ID Card. Now go toward the huge machine in the room. Inspect it and activate it. This will bring power to all the elevators in the Sub-Gate. Now head back to the big pit room with the raised platform. Head through the door opposite of the one you just went through. You’ll enter a room with three spider-like reaverbot. Blast them all. Roll will then mention a false wall. Find a square on the ceiling and use the Grand Grenade on it. Then jump up through the in the ceiling to find another floor. Go through the door on this floor to find an elevator.

Boss: Kanumaru Bash-These wolf-like reaverbots have two attacks;
1.    Ram you
2.    Breathe of fire
Circle around the three wolfs with L and R/Z. Keep shooting no matter what.

Now head through the door in the room. You’re back in that huge room. Run right to find another crevice with an ID Card in it. Now run back to the computer room to activate the computer and open the Main Gate. Now head back to the Flutter. Talk to Data. Now talk to Roll and select “Go to Cardon Forest” to begin the toughest battle you’ll ever face.

14.) Battle in the Sky

Mini Boss: Draches-Just use C Right to aim at the Draches, and shoot.
1.    Shoot laser bullets

Boss: Gesellchaft-This one a little tougher…
1.    Fires bombs
2.    Fires green orbs
Shoot the bombs to avoid damage, and then shoot the wings and the under-side of the ship to damage its general health. After you set the wings and under-side on fire, the skull on the front of the Gesellchaft will fire those green orbs, so shoot the skull mark to cause the Gesellchaft to explode, revealing…

Boss: Fokkerwolf-Not too tough…
1.    Fires missiles
2.    Fires laser
Shoot the missiles, and then shoot the Fokkerwolf as it flies by while firing lasers.

15.) The “Tower”ing Bruno!

Now call Roll and select “Support Car”. Choose “Main Gate”. Head inside the Main Gate and run down the spiral until you find a door. Head inside to find the Omega Power Unit (or something). Leave and keep going down for another door. Go inside and go right to find a computer console. Inspect it, and select, “Open Sub-Cities”. Now keep going right to find a large opening, inside is one Kanumaru Bash! Destroy it if you want, than find a door on the left side. Run through the passage it leads to pop up in the Old City. Enter the power plant next to you. Hey, it’s the Bonnes!!!

Boss: Bruno-This is a medium boss;
1.    Fires missiles
2.    Fires bombs
3.    Fires green orbs
Hide behind the doorway to the Main Gate to avoid Bruno’s fire power, the jump and shoot. His health’s size may be intimidating, but he’s not too hard.

16.) The Cities Underground

Call Roll to heal and save. Whey you leave, you’ll find a Portal just like the one to the Main Gate. Enter it to find the first Sub-City.

Sub-City 1-Once inside, destroy all the reaverbots to open the door locking a large tower. Head inside to find the ‘Watcher’ Key.

Sub-City 2-This Sub-City is in Downtown. Use the same strategy as before. (But with a few different Reaverbots) Go inside the tower for the ‘Sleeper’ Key.

Sub-City 3-This Sub-City is in Uptown. This one contains…

Boss: Gainee Tooren-This reaverbot has but one attack.
1.    Dispenses other reaverbots
When the reaverbot opens up its storage hatch to shoot out a reaverbot, shoot the hatch to cause damage and stop the reaverbot from coming out.

Now run back to the Main Gate and go to the very end of the spiral where a door is.

17.) Meet…Yourself!!!

Use the three keys you found to open the locked doors ahead. Beyond the doors is a large machine holding…Megaman Juno! You’ll watch a cutscene explaining who MJ is, his main function, and how he nearly shocks Megaman to death! The Bonnes come in and bust the shocker machines, then tell Megaman to go beat Megaman Juno. Run through hall beating all the reaverbot you see. Find the chest that holds the Power Stream (equip it). After you come to a room with Data, save and heal. Head through door In front of Data to find Megaman Juno!

Boss: Megaman Juno (Part 1)-TOUGH;
1.    Fires moving laser from his arms
2.    Sweeps the room with lasers
3.    Rams you
4.    Jumping Shockwave
5.    Shockwave
Circle around Megaman Juno, jumping over the shockwaves. NEVER, stop shooting and you’ll beat Megaman Juno easy…

Boss: Megaman Juno (Part 2)-Heh, heh, not so easy;
1.    Shoot a energy ball
2.    Sweep the room
3.    Ram you
4.    Shockwave/Rain of lasers
5.    Jump/Squash
Circle and shoot. That’s all. However, when his health is low, he’ll use the shockwave/rain of lasers attack. Jump over the shockwave and RUN!!!

Congratulations! You Beat the Game!
