Okay same deal with this one, only Medrano is just a guy like you and me. Not a company or a knife manufacturer, just a guy who buys the knives from Taiwan and acid etches them at home with his last name "Medrano" and a serial number and sells them as if he was the maker of the knife. Nothing special, just another $30.00 knife presented as being something more than that.
