McDonald's CARS Happy Meal toy promotion (2006)

Almost every child loves McDonald's, Disney, and PIXAR movies. These three institutions came together in summer of 2006 to offer one of the greatest Happy Meal toy offerings in recent memory, toy replicas of the cars from the hit Disney Pixar movie CARS.  There were eight cars offered as part of the series, including:

    * #1 Lightning McQueen
    * #2 Mater
    * #3 Sally
    *  #4 Doc Hudson
    *  #5 Ramone
    * #6 Flo
    * #7 Luigi
    * #8 Filmore.


Each car also has its own unique set of variants. For example: Lightning McQueen comes in both MUDDY and CLEAN versions. Other cars come with eyes looking left, up, down, or right.  The cars are adorable and extremely collectible.  Disney and McDonald's have agreed to end their Happy Meal partnership after this promotion and the follow up promotion for Pirates of the Caribbean, so these cars are sure to become increasingly valuable and rare over time.  They are true EBay collector's items!
