Your Maytag Neptune stopped spinning all the water out of your clothes, and now after each wash you have to hand squeeze them before tossing into the dryer! Maytag engineers over looked a critical part known as the wax motor with a history for early failure, the sad part about the solenoids short life,is that when it finally shorts out, it destroys two small components known as R11 & Q6 on the very expensive control board that runs the whole washers functions.
Maytags solution to the problem is to sell you (including labor) a new board for over $400.00. a slap in the face to all neptune owners that never bothered to extend there warranty thinking like all, that the washer was going to be trouble free.
Affected models with future wax motor failures include: MAH5500A, MAH4000, MAH3000, and the Stacker 2000. If these models Wax motors have not been changed. We highly recommend changing them with the new wax motor kit we sell.
Our kit comes complete with all the parts you need to repair a no spinning washer, all you need to do is solder in the new R11 & Q6 components which takes 15 minutes, then install the new wax motor. As part of our help,we exclusively show you step by step procedures on getting to and repairing your washer with photos & video, plus tech support by phone.
