Just a short note to tell you of my experiences with video graphics cards for computers, and why you would want to use a Matrox video card in your desktop system. If you want video (3D) game characteristics, then Matrox is probably NOT the right choice. There are many cards with far greater design concentration on 3D performance, but for viewing (2D) items, pictures, illustrations, Excel charts and graphs, etc. get a Matrox. No manufacturer makes a better card for 2D purposes.

I've been using and comparing Matrox cards to other manufacturer's cards for over a decade. The visual fidelity of Matrox cards (even their old ones) is amazing.

Hopes this helps graphics pros and people who just want to REALLY see their pictures!
