The Life and Person of Father Mathew Enoch Mount
Father Mount was born to Cynthia and Roger Mount in Sterling, Illinois on September 11, 1980. John Boynton was his great grandfather whom lived all his life and was born in Rock Island, Illinois whom at the climax in his life helped start one of the first labor unions in the United states FE Local 109, FE-UE Local 109, UAW Local 1309. Not only was Father Mount born into the linage of John Boynton, but he also was born into the linage of his grandfather East whom was a medical hospital manage and his grandfather Mount whom could neither read nor write even into his death in 2005.
In early childhood Father Mount was distinctly different from other children because of his inability to comprehend written language that latter become diagnosed as Dyslexia. Despite the childhood challenges that Father Mount faced with his Dyslexia and poverty that occurred as a result of the economic downfall of his Rock Falls community and the great recession of the early and mid-eights, he managed to continue primary education and even graduate from Rock Falls Township High School in the Fall of 1998. Soon after graduating high school with little ability to read or write Father Mount attended Sauk Valley Community College in the former hometown of president Ronald Reagan Dixon, Illinois from the Summer of 1998 until the Summer of 2004 where he was mentioned the entire time by the college instructor, Sunday school teacher, and intellectual powerhouse Kevin Megill.
While at Sauk Valley Community College in 1998 Father Mount formed the organization UC Technology and was president of the organization for many years while he was continuously active with the organization until his transfer to Southern Illinois University in 2004. While Father Mount operated UC Technology, the organization had weekly technology dialog sessions, excursion trips to Chicago, Illinois, and technology recreational competitions. At the climax of UC Technology under the direction of Father Mount the most brilliant technology related majors had all been active members.
At the climax of Father Mount’s involvement with UC Technology Father Mount formed the Delaware Corporation Undiscovered Technology Concepts Incorporated in an attempt to utilize his deep connections with the elite of the local technology industry. Father Mount had planed to serve local industry by making contracts with local industry for large jobs while subcontracting the jobs out to local individuals that he was familiar with the abilities of. Although the formation of the Delaware Corporation could have had a good economic potential for its 2002 foundation, Father Mount experienced a lack of dedication among participants who would serve on the board of directors and thus the organization never performed any service.
Only four years after having formed UC Technology Father Mount formed UC Philosophy for Jesus the Christ on the same Sauk Valley Community College campus, and like UC Technology that was operated under the faculty authority of Kevin Megill UC Philosophy for Jesus the Christ was operated under the same faculty authority but only with an improved and more extensive constitution with a purpose of having philosophical and theological dialog sessions instead of technology dialog sessions that promoted the exploration and promotion of technology. At the climax of UC Philosophy for Jesus the Christ under the direction of Father Mount speeches on the subject of the intersection of religion and philosophy had been given to the community by Father Mount at the college while major local newspapers like the Daly Gazette of Sterling, Illinois announced the speeches. UC Philosophy for Jesus the Christ under the direction of Father Mount overall managed to promote a greater theological unity between Christians in the local community of Dixon, Illinois.
In 2001 Father Mount become the publications officer of the Sterling, Illinois Branch of the Community of Christ Church, and Father Mount became the secretary of Math Club at Sauk Valley Community College in 2002. In 2003 Father Mount started and managed the Saint Sophia Press of Mathew Enoch Mount provided by Lulu, and the same year Father Mount started his Christian counseling service on the web called The Christian Advisory Service. Father Mount then in 2004 developed a large collection of web sights with The Short Works of Mathew Mount being the first of the greatest web sights that collected all of his poetic and creative writings as well as his intellectual writings.
Father Mount was noted by Sauk Valley Community College to be the first person ever to have completed so many accomplishments at the college because by the time he ended his education at the college he had gained four associate degrees and five college awarded certificates in addition to two American Legion awards from post # 902 with one in American Government and another in American History. The subjects of the degrees and certificates that Father Mount holds from Sauk Valley Community College are those of Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Liberal Studies, Computer Programming, Management, Supervisory Management, and Management Information Systems.
Although at Sauk Valley Community College Father Mount had started college with his job working at the college’s grounds department, Father Mount advanced to being a security officer then to being a computer lab assistant for several labs then to being a information technology assistant working beside a dean’s office manage in a information technology department and then to being a local college tutor of students of special needs for the federal organization of Student Support Services. Throughout the entire time that Father Mount worked at his various college jobs he also took care of and transported his mentally ill mother who was not permitted to drive because of medications. Although Father Mount had many jobs, organizations, and college classes, he lived a very modest life caring for his mother.
Although after graduation from Sauk Valley Community College Father Mount desired to attend a Greek Orthodox seminary in Brookline, MA, he was rejected on the bases that he could cause a political uproar in the sixty-three student college named Hellenic College\ Holy Cross located just outside of Harvard University. Father Mount thus in the same year of 2004 after being rejected from Hellenic College \ Holy Cross found Bishop Curran with a cross walker in Rock Falls, Illinois at about the one year anniversary that Father Mount had been carrying a cross throughout the streets of Rock Falls. Father Mount and Bishop Curran both having believed the experience to be mystical began studying together about every day for several hours a day, and thus before the end of the year in 2004 Father Mount became ordained as a deacon by Bishop Curran.
In the fall of 2004 after having been rejected from several other universities on various other basses Father Mount attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois where he unsuccessfully struggled to complete a mathematics degree program and a classics degree program. With the language processing difficulties that Father Mount had resulting from dyslexia, he just could not further his education past the amount of mathematics education that would be required for an engineering degree program also he could not successfully complete ancient language class requirements. Father Mount thus changed his majors to Philosophy and Economics, and he also pursued his Master's Degree in Ministry from a non-accredited weekend seminary school operated by Bishop Gentry out of Gentry's Carterville, Illinois Grace Episcopal Church Cathedral.
While Father Mount was attempting to gain his Master’s in Ministry degree, he was also attending Grace Episcopal Church in Carterville about three days a week. Father Mount however also attended a messianic Jewish torah study on Saturdays under the direction of John Martin the messianic Jewish leader who had authored three major scholastic books on the messianic Jewish faith. Father Mount thus became influenced both by the theology of Grace Episcopal Church and by the Messianic Jewish faith.
Although bishop Gentry had hopes in Father Mount being ordained as a priest in Grace Episcopal Church and serving under him, as a result of a theological dispute between the two involving the separation of church and state and the nature of divine intervention the two separated. Very close to the time that the two separated Father Mount was ordained by Bishop John Robert Curran who had served as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California who had become a bishop from the death of his bishop and by an underground ordination involving three bishops who believed in keeping the unity of the Christian church namely by one of the Episcopal Church, Roman Catholic Church, and Greek Orthodox Church all laying hand on Bishop Curran years before he had ordained Father Mount as a priest. Father Mount thus became a priest in Temple of Faith Ministries under Bishop Curran with this three in one ordination line, and now Father Mount also carries the Order of Saint Benedict as a result of Bishop Curran having carried the order.
Sometime after having become a priest Father Mount started Apologia Society under the world famous Methodist process theologian and philosopher Randall Auxier who was a philosophy professor at Southern Illinois University, a union leader, and a department dean as well as an editor in chief of the Library of Living Philosophers. Under Randall Auxier with Apologia Society Father Mount opened a theological and philosophical dialog session at Southern Illinois University that became a source of attraction for philosophy graduate students, clergy, and various religions leaders. The success of Apologia Society became a good source of involvement for Father Mount to start a branch of Temple of Faith Ministries in Carbondale, Illinois.
The precursor of Apologia Society was the Google news group that Father Mount created in May of 2005 entitled Jesus on the web that contained vast amounts of clergy, experts, and apologists that all dialogged about the Christian faith in terms of theology and philosophy. With the power of the foundation of Apologia Society Jesus on the Web became the official web sight of Apologia Society, and thus Father Mount was able to promote Jesus on the Web through Apologia Society at high traffic public places in Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Jesus on the web thus grew into something that at its first big climax had over one thousand messages a month that contained dialog and academic papers, and Jesus on the web became second in the world for Philosophy of Religion and number twelve in the world for Christianity according to the Google news group subject directories.
In the summer of 2005 Father Mount traveled to Greece and Turkey as part of an international study abroad program. Father Mount studied in the remnants of ancient Ephesus that was a city important to the missionary work of St. Paul. Father Mount also studied in the home town of Pythagoras in the Greek island of Samos. Father Mount also has studied in Athens, Greece as well as other central cities of ancient Greek history and culture.
Father Mount has acted as the director and editor of the television show Transcendentalism of the Ages that is scheduled to be released by the local Carbondale television station SPC - TV channel 24. The television show showcases Christian theology, philosophy, and various academic subjects. Major academic figures are often involved in episodes including various clergy and scholars.
Now Father Mount operates Apologia Society at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and he also operates Temple of Faith Ministries worship out of the Carbondale Interfaith center. Father Mount is thus now a candidate for three Batchers degrees from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with majors and minors in subjects such as Philosophy, Economics, History, Classics, Anthropology, and Mathematics. Father Mount is also working to create with Randall Auxier a rare study abroad program to go to Israel and Palestine that would be sponsored by Southern Illinois University.
