Acne, Large Pores, Marks, Oily areas, Dry areas, and Maturing skin ?

Many people do not realize that Mary Kay also manufactures the TimeWise 3-n-1 bar for combination to normal skin which can be used for all skin types.  This bar provides the same cleansing, exfoliating, toning and anti-aging benefits as the well-known TimeWise 3-n-1 creams for dry or oily skin.  The difference is that the bar provides a deep pore cleansing without over-drying the combination skin.

When acne is controlled, you may be priviledged to follow with the new Microdermabrasion Set and formula 2 moisturizer.  This is the best exfoliating and pore tightening products I ever used!  If acne is not yet controlled, then save the Microdermabrasion for later, and for now follow with both the Revitalizing Mask and the Purifying Freshner which also exfoliates, tightens the pores, and gently controls acne without over-drying the skin.  (Note:  The Blemish Control Toner is unnecessary but can be used instead as an extremely effective and speedy way to combat acne.  It is unnecessary because the description of this skin care guide alone is usually sufficient enough to control acne.)

The formula 2 moisturizer is made specifically for the combination and normal skin.  Because this lotion is water-based, the skin drinks this immediately without an oily after-feel.  This lotion is literally called the "balancing" moisturizer because it balances the dry and oily areas of the skin.  This product has resulted in evident improvement of skin texture in less than a week of daily use.

In general, moisturizers are the best care against marks and aging.  The secret is not to let your skin get dry.  Marks are nothing more than dry patches and lines are nothing more than lack of elasticity.  So drink plenty of water and apply plenty of moisturizers to skin.  And remember not to blanket your skin with moisturizers that are oil-based but do quench your skin with moisturizers that are water-based.

So much emphasis is placed on either aging, acne, oily, or dry skin but nothing in between or the combination of these.

Another Note:  Those with combination skin many times do well with products made for normal skin which allows the skin to go back to a near balanced state.  Then once the skin is much back to a balanced state, you may need one or two additional products for your customized need.  Otherwise, you would have too many products for ALL your combination of needs because your skin is not balanced!
