This is the way i remember the
Cabane a Sucre
A small Family business that kept the
old ways of making the maple syrup.
We have not have the light blond syrup now for
3 years. the light blond syrup is made with the first sap,
but the past 3 years, the first sap have to much water in it.
In Canada we are not aloud using bleach or peroxide to make the syrup look golden blond.
We do have the light, but not the golden.
i sale light, medium and amber.
TASTE IT ONCE YOU WILL FIND A DIFFERENCE.
the maple trees are notch (entailles).
the end of February and March
the sap of the trees are sift out,
and this water is boiled in a high
temperature for many hours until
it changes to Syrup or sugar
i will be selling maple syrup on ebay
from a small family enterprise.
