What do I mean by making the choice easy. It's simple. You look at what the seller wants for his item plus the S&H charges and you decide if the total cost is what you want to pay.In most cases for me the choice is easy. It's NO. Why? Because the price of the item might be reasonable but in most cases the S&H is extremely exagerated. So what to do. The way I look at it is the item price and S&H have to come very close to what I would pay at Walmart or a flea market or I won't buy. I do not want to pay overinflated S&H to line someone elses pockets with my hard earned cash. Also I do not go for extremely low starting prices like 1 cent sales. They do this quite often on DVDs with a whopping S&H to make their profit. It costs about $1.25 in postage to send a single DVD yet they want from $5.75 to $20.00 to ship it.They came up with a new gimmick to try and get away with this. They don't say it costs so much by USPS anymore because you can check this very easily by going to the USPS site so they use this new one called Standard flat rate. Ebay has a new feedback system that is much improved to help the buyers but does it really?Time will tell and I hope it does not only help the buyers but will also make the sellers realize that they can sell more with reasonable prices but even more with fair S&H. So in my case the choice is easy. Ebay vs Walmart.
