Wharfedale Speakers W/12/FS Woofers vs Super 12/CS/AL

SUPER 12/CS/AL weight 19 pounds each, 12 CS-AL is full range. Circa 1955-1959.

 

 

Replaced by W12/FS in 1959. these were made from 1960, and was costed down to a smaller

ALNICO magnet, only for a woofer of  3-ways system.

 

 

Super 12/CS/AL  have larger magnets & phenolic spiders. Not corrugated spiders, as pictured above .

Here are 2 pictures which the W12FS came from. This set has the much sought after Super Tweeter.
