An important consideration is the description of your book.. if you have a collector's item be sure to 'write a book' about what the book looks like.. everything about it. Every tear, crease, pencil mark and so on. This is greatly appreciated by buyers who want a more expensive collector's book but are afraid to spend their money.

Pictures don't do a book justice; sometimes the picture makes them look too good so if you have a defect it is best to picture that separately. Let buyers know exactly what they are paying for.

One more way to make your book more valuable to the buyer is to add a mylar cover .. just like in the library. This is excellent protection for the book and has a very finished look.
