Ebay is a wonderful place to buy and sell antique cars, and parts.
I have been buying and selling on Ebay for about 6 years,
Like anything else you must learn how to use Ebay, it takes time , setting before the computer and just
watching auctions from start to finish, that is where the section My Ebay comes in handy.
There is alot of money to be made, most people think it is free, money, that is not true, it is like any
other business, but if you work at it with minimal effort, you can make alot of money.
Find the make or model of car you are most interested in and start there.
If it is your interest you are more likely to be successful , because it will not seem so much like work.
You will spend more time doing something you like,.
Set aside some funds to buy and sell with.
And don't touch it, it takes money to make money.
Research the cars you are dealing with, you must know everything there is to know about them,
Start out with a small field, and as you learn you can increase you field of knowledge alittle at a time.
check your local advertisers for good deals in your area.
I go on ebay, at almost anytime i want and buy things that i know will sell for higher.
I do searches on newly listed items with buy it now prices, i also look for people with low feedback,
because sometimes , they are not used to the ebay prices, and they list there items at a lower price than
they usually bring on ebay, many times i have bought items off of ebay and relisted them and double or
tripled my money.
Remember don't get discourged, go slow. Every now and then you may lose a little money, but all is not
lost because you are learning.
Find people in your area , that are on the road alot and, have them looking for old cars that you can buy
sell, make them aware of what you are looking for, and offer them a finders fee if you buy a car they
Find.
Usually 5 to 10 %.
I run want ads in my local paper for the type of cars that i am looking for, you can usually do this from
phone with a credit card. i list in all the papers within 100 miles of my house, sometimes a 2 hour drive
can yield thousands of dollars,
If you find something you are not sure of the value, get on ebay and look around , see what the going
price is before you buy,
If you find and item you think you want to buy, don't play around to long, chances are you are not the
only one looking for them, you must move quickly,
After you do it a while , you will know immediatly when you are getting a good deal.
I have made thousands of dollars every year , using these methods.
Remember, just because you thing something is a piece of junk, others may have use for it.
I don't throw anything away , when it comes to old car parts, even if its broke , someone else may be
willing to fix it and use it, after they buy it for you.
List items on ebay and see what they will bring, you might be surprised,
If your not sure, list it high, you can always relist it, if it don't sell the first time, you don't want to give
things away,
One or the most important things about ebay , is to keep good feedback,. even if you have to go out of
the way to do it. Because, every now and then, you will run, in to that one who is not happy with the
item, no matter what you do.
.I hope this helps some one to prosper like i have using ebay.
Blessings, Addict4christ
