Cards Recycled Into gift boxes..no wrapping needed.
Hello and thanks for stopping by and reading this guide...you will love it. Take old cards that you have received say from last year... (for schools, teachers...etc..most business will give you there old cards if you ask for them prior to needing them...(for bulk boxes).
Seperate the front and back(2 pieces). Repeat both pieces the same: Fold in half long way and short way...(looks like a cross on the card). Start with the ends first because they will have to be folded larger than the sides...I use the middle line as a guide. Then fold the sides shorter than the ends to allow room to fold over once flaps are made. You will repeat this for both halves of the card..(top and bottom). unfold..you should have creases...top, bottom....On the fold for the sides...cut on the crease to the first crease you see...this will form the side flaps. So, you will cut 4 times. Fold the sides forward and turn the flaps in....then fold the ends up (which should be taller) and fold over side flaps and tape.(inside box). Wah Lah...you have a top and a bottom. You can add candy or small gift items in these boxes. Great for teachers, neighbors..friends...etc. Talk about a card that just keeps giving...LOL. Below are a few diagrams...hope that you can figure them out. This is an Awesome way to recycle.
Thank you and have a wonderful day! God Bless
