Make $100 a Week on Ebay

There are a lot of schemes out there for making money on ebay. Many of them promise thousands, or even tens of thousands of dollars a month,  And, as you can guess - They are just promises.  You can make thousands of dollars a month on ebay - even more.  But, the only way - is through lots of hard work, and time, and money.

And, the simple truth is - For most of us, an extra hundred dollars a week can change your life.  Buy a new car, Get new furniture, that plasma screen TV you always wanted, a Caribbean cruise...  One hundred dollars a week can bring you all of that.

More than anything else Making $100 a week isn't as time consuming.  You can do in five ten hours.  As a powerseller - attempting to make thousands of dollars - you have to work fifty -sixty - even seventy hours a week, or more.

Getting Started

What's your passion??? Baseball cards.  Stamps. Coins. Cars.  Motorcycles.  Knitting.  Sewing.  The great thing is, it doesn't matter, because there are millions of people out there with the same interests as you.

  1. If you haven't already done it, spend a week exploring all things stamps, or coins on ebay.  See who is selling what, and for how much?  Look at what they are charging for shipping, and how there auctions are presented.  Take some notes onwhat kind of pictures they are using.  Look for related items that are not being sold.
  2. Most sellers start by selling items from there own collections.  Look for duplicates you have, or items you may no longer want.
  3. List five or ten auctions to test the waters.
  4. As you begin selling, you can replenish your stock by going to card shows, or coin shows.  You can buy "lots" of items on ebay,

My passion was history, and I started on ebay with fifteen dollars.  Within a few months I was selling $500 a month, and then a $1000 - even as much as $4000 or $5000.  One month - It was $8900.

Yard Sales - Auctions - Thrift Stores

These are all great places to find your beginning inventory.  If you're a budding fashion genius, look for clothes.  If you enjoy books, magazines, or movies - These places have lots of them.  My tip would be to visit yard sales, or thrift shops for a few weeks to get an idea of the items they have.  Be sure to take notes of what is available, and when you get home - Take a look at some of these items on ebay.  Are they selling?  What condition are they selling in?  What items aren't selling?

You can make a mental list.  But, it will be much better if you take a few minutes to write it down.  This way you can take your list with you, next time you are yard saling.  Antoher way smart ebayers handle research is to have one person home near the computer, and another visiting sales.  Whenever you see an interesting item - call for verification on what items like it have sold for.  If you are unsure - snap a picture, and email it from your phone.

You're going to see hundreds of items this way.  Pick five or ten a week, and spend no more than $20 to $50 a week on them.  Soon you will become an expert on what will sell, and what the dogs are.

If you consistenly list 10 good items a week - You should be well on your way to a One Hundred Dollar a week profit - with little risk.
