This area of collecting has some real advantages. The old saying 'useless as yesterdays newspaper', has allowed the magazine collectors to fly under the radar. I cannot remember how many times I've heard, "what in the world do you want that stuff for" which you do not hear in the Antique business or many other areas of collecting. When people know a little, it makes it hard to squeeze out a profit, or ,if you are strictly collecting, find anything you can afford. Therefore, if you are thinking about starting to collect, or you don't know if it's worth it.

The odds are in your favor if you stick with the blue chips Vogue, Harpers, Elle, Ocean drive, etc These always go up.
