In all my years with computers, its a wonder that mac/apple corporation is still in business. Its no wonder that IBM clones dominate 99% of the world.
They are easier to work on and easier to manage. Apple do not provide very good support for their imacs and macs they make. In experience with the imac g3 mini mac, i will say there will never again be a mac in my house or household, they are cheap pieces of garbage, Tried to upgrade the imac g3 (600mhz) to mac os 10.4 soon as i start the cd , it says it needs a firmware update, get that , in order to run the update YOU MUST HAVE MAC os 9.1 or higher installed, how in the world can you do a firmware update on a mac when the stupid thing will not even boot of a mac os 9 cd? That whys in my own words i will not own a mac.  As with a regular pc it doesn't complain about firmware updates, as they are easier to work with to. Install a piece of software and it works, try to install linux or windows on a pc it works 90% without trouble, do the same thing with a mac, install linux the stupid thing will boot then freeze, it complains about this and that. its a no wonder that macs gets a bad rap!!! Any mac is 100% garbage. Because they are expensive, once something goes bad on them you have replace the entire unit. as with a desktop pc, most of the time you can replace a small item and it will be working again. As i write this guide, i want to help spread the word of macs, do not buy one, they have a nice gui, but the hardware part is garbage. it would be nice to run the mac os on a pc, but as of now, macs get a F from me. because they are just junk and get a bunch of negative. In my advice stay away from them.
