hi.
i am a ebay seller who just wanted to share a couple things with you that i have learned over the years as a seller on ebay.
1.it is impossible to make everyone happy no matter what.
2.always post your polices returns,refunds,etc.
3.feedback well it does not always accurately represent who you are because people can be cruel and leave you feedback that is flat out wrong and ebay does nothing for people on this matter.
4.ebay fees.well here lately ebay has started trying to tell sellers how they may post there listings in regards to fees,(shipping),(starting bids),(example) if i list something that is to sell that weighs heavy but list my shipping to reflect it and start the bid out low ebay says i can not do that because they dont make as much money that way.they call it sercumvention of there fees.
5 overall most people who i have delt with have been a pleasure most are just like me and my wife people who have to work for what they have in life.but remember there are those out there who try and take advantage of good folks.
6 AND FOR THE MOST PART FOR ME EBAY HAS BEEN A FUN PLACE FOR ME TO BUY AND SELL.SO HERE'S WISHING ALL GOOD LUCK.
7 everyone should make sure that when they purchase a item and pay for it that the seller gets the correct shipping address from paypal in other words buyers please keep your shipping address up to date as sellers are not responsiable if your item is shipped to a invalid address.
8 insurance. folks i no everyone hates paying 2-3 dollars more for insurance but it does come in very helpfull if the usps looses your item.example not so long ago i shipped out a exspensive power supply well usps lost it a month went by and my customer contacted me well after i checked to see if he had purchased insurance(he did) i filled a claim for him with in two weeks he had the fully insured price in his hands.if he had not purchased insurance he would have just lost his money as sellers are not responsabile for lost items during shipping. so
i highly recommend spending the extra few bucks and protect your investment.
