I purchased the Motorola V3i in March before they were available in the U.S. I have been VERY pleased with almost every aspect of this phone. The i-tunes player works flawlessly and with the exception of the non expandable memory, is a great addition to the already really cool razr format. The voice dial feature, which requires no "training" is GREAT! Just say the name and the phone dials away. Even when there are similar sounding names in your directory, you will be prompted to select the one your really mean. This is a really slick feature. I have read much negative press about the 1.3 megapixel camera on this phone and would like to suggest that any serious photographer just go out and get a real camera. The software that came with the phone was easy to use in saving photos from the phone to my PC. The i-tunes software, while a bit slow with downloads, worked flawlessly as well. Oh, and let's not forget the cool graphite grey coloring ( I changed mine out w/ an OEM deep plum case which was a bit of an ordeal, but looks great when completed). Finally, reception is great, the speaker is more than adequate, and the phone is NOT flimsy in the least. Great 2nd effort by Motorola.
P.S. If you buy your phone from an overseas vendor, you can get the code to make your text and MM messaging work on your carriers website. It was so easy, even I could do it. Hope this guide helps.
