How to Save Money & also have ready Cash for your re-occurring Bills on and before Time.

I thought I'd write this guide which many friends have taken up this advice.

Many years ago I owned 13 Cars and 4 Harley's and ofcourse needed to pay there registration fees and needed money to do this. As there was at least one rego per month to pay plus my usual bills coming in I had to learn to budget and below I will describe a bloody simple way for ALL to do this and it's easy.... It's sort of the easy way a personal financial adviser or accountant will work your expenses out except I do it in plain English and for people to easy understand.

To summarize what is written Below:

A/ Add all your yearly re-occuring bills up to a total.

B/ Divide the total amount by when you get paid yearly, Weekly/fortnightly etc.

C/ Open another account with your bank, and have that amount transfered every pay for Bills only.

If it was me I would start doing this today, not tomorrow or the start of next year, NOW is the time to start this easy budget:

We ALL have bills, the very first thing to do is today go back through all your re-occurring bills that you (and your partner, wife, husband) know will be have to be paid next year sometime and have paid during the last year, you only need to write down the Bill and how much it was, the date doesn't matter.

Start to either write them down or better still put them onto Microsoft 'Word' as you can Save and re-open and reconfigure the amounts later...

Some of these may include: Phone, Internet, Gas, Electricity, Rates, Rent, Car/Motorcycle Rego, Car/Motorcycle Insurance, House and Contents Insurance, Water Rates, etc etc...

Although re-occuring Just leave out Petrol, Groceries etc and other things that are harder to determine unless you can actually pinpoint how much you spend per year.

Most people pay their bills the same way whether Credit Card, Savings Account, Cash, Check and should be rather easy to go back through the past year from today and write them all down. If you accidentally miss one or two does not really matter, as you'll catch them when they arrive to be paid.

Once you have a long list of all your bills you consider will be a full years worth, add them up until you have a total, which may shock you, but at least it's a total of bills you will have to pay in the next coming and probably years to come.

Next step is to caculate when you get paid, (Paid meaning a usual amount received) either weekly/fortnightly and some rarer occasions monthly...   Does not matter if it's paid work, unemployment benefits, disability payments, just about everyone gets a nomal paid amount.

Divide the Total of Bills by when you get paid -      12 if you get paid per month,      26 if per fortnight, and      52 if weekly.          It's surprising but this is the amount and more you will need basically each and every weekly.fortnight, month,  to keep up to paying these future bills.

The main thing now to do is open up another account (which should be free) with whatever Bank you bank with. This account is only for paying bills!.

You can either contact your Bank, or even easier do it yourself online and have the amount you worked out you will need on a weekly/fortnightl/monthly to pay bills TRANSFERED AUTOMATICALLY- from one account to your 'Bills Account'.

You will find this amount will grow if:  A/ You only pay you bills from this Account    and    B/ Don't Withdraw money for other reasons.

One thing I did was also put some extra cash into my 'Bills Account' when I had a bit extra cash or paid a bill from my normal account which saved money in my 'Bills Account'

You should find after one year you'll have saved money in this 'Bills Account' ready for bills for next year... The thing is not to take it out and let it grow as Bills go up not down.

Although I don't have all those rego's to pay now, I have cash to pay any bill which comes in and not worried about them anymore trying to find the cash, or the best thing living from wekk to week...  Like most do....

I hope this helps you and you 'Vote' - down below to say this was helpful...
