There is a locking device on this lighter/torch which I consider to be dangerous and misleading.  When I see the word "lock" on the side I think it means it is "locked off", as in unable to be ignited, perhaps for child safety, etc.  No!! The lock device/switch on this lighter/torch means LOCK ON!!! And the switch sticks!! So, to my surprise, after finding that this option locked the device on, I tried to quickly turn it off in a panic while trying to avoid being burned by the unit's torch-flames, and had a very hard time shutting it off. This is not something you want to have around children or irresponsible people.  Make sure you and anyone who uses this item are aware of its functions. No instructions came with the item.  It looked way better in the picture.
