WOW!! Mill Hill Beads are expensive and many are hard to find! THANK goodness for EBAY! I bought 6 Mill Hill banner Hangers and sure got a great deal! And, when I found a collection of 10 books, I bid it up to $92. Think I'm nuts? Not when I KNOW (since I am a seller AND a crafter) that these are so so rare. The Mill Hill and Sue Hillis collections are Beautiful when finished, and they are NOT as difficult as they appear. Go to a dollar store and get a good pair of reading glasses for $1....that way, you can buy several and make you a little travel kit. I take mine in a zippered 3 ring school binder that has a place for my books or samplers. And I bought some tiny jewelry bags for the beads and DMC floss. They are hole punched, and hung on the rings in the binder....all ready to go when I have another Dr. appointment, or have to get oil changed....or wait for my husband while HE shops in the tools store. Get organized!! I am preaching that right now...not just for spring cleaning, but because my biggest frustration in feeling the Creative urge, deciding on what kind of project I want to do, and then being too tired to start after getting it all together in one place. Know how I get my Cleaning done?? I reward my self with a shopping trip in Ebay AFTER I vacume and scrub floors. And I gave ME a huge collection of Mill Hill Beads after I had all of my projects in zipper bags and ready to start. That way I knew what I had, knew what I needed, and saw what I wanted in Ebay.
Have fun in here!! You can shop and not have to put down your coffee cup. Plus after the kids are down for the night, you will have a little leisure time to recreate yourself, and find something new!! Hugs to all! And Happy Stitching! Lynnie :-)
