What is a Martingale Tab Collar?

A Martingale Tab Collar, is a SLEEK and SAFE closed collar that widens to lift over your dogs head. 

Instead of a bulky CHAIN LOOP or a wide FABRIC LOOP a tab martingale collar has a flat TAB to tighten it. The tab is made of durable yet soft/touchable polypro webbing. The tab is attached to a D-ring with an O-ring at the other end (to easily attach your leash).

How to USE?

The leash is clipped to the tab ring, and the tab tightens the collar around the dog's neck when the leash pulls on the tab - or when the dog pulls on the leash.  The collar is fit exactly to the size of the dog's neck so when the tab closes the collar it does not and can not choke the dog. 

The O- ring at the end of the tab is easy to attach the leash to.

Aesthetically the tab collar is attractive because it is not bulky and creates a smooth line as it sits cleanly on your dog's shoulders.

The custom sized collars are a better fit because the tab is individually measured and made for your dog's specific needs (overhead and ears).

Look for collars with extra PADDING too, especially if your dog is a tugger, has a thin coat and/or sensitive skin.
