My favorite scrapbooking class of all time was learning to make a mini album out of page protector refills. This is a fun and inexpensive way to make brag books or gifts.
Supplies you will need:
1 - package of 6x6 mini album refill pages (appx. $2-$3)
(I like to use 5 sheets to make 10 pages, but you can use as many as you like)
1 - piece of thick ribbon appx. 18 inches (leftovers from your supplies)
2 - heavy sheets of cardstock for your front and pack covers (leftovers from your supplies)
assorted papers, stickers, rub-ons embellishments, die cuts, stamps, fibers, eyelets, etc.
tools - adhesive, scissors, trimmer, hole punch, eyelet setter (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cut your 2 heavy cardstock papers 7" x 7.5" to make your covers
2. Punch holes in the left end of the cardstock to match with the holes in your page protector refills. You should have a cardstock cover boarder of appx. one half inch on the top and bottom. I usually put the page protectors almost all the way to the left so i have about one inch on the right side.
3. Put one piece of cardstock on the bottom and one piece of cardstock on the top of your page protectors to make your album covers.
4. Tie your pages together by looping the ribbon through the holes. Just tie tight enough to keep the knot secure. You want to leave a tiny bit of space so the album is easy to open and close.
That is it! You should have an album that is ready to decorate and fill up with your favorite photos and memobillia! I hope you found this guide helpful. These are so fun and easy to make and great to give away as gifts.
