Here is the Mac defintions of the different Lipsticks and Finishes...

So many of my fellow Ebayers have written to me and asked for the definition or "difference" in Mac lipstick finishes. This will save you the hassle of going to the Mac site and logging in and searching- etc. I have written it exactly as defined by Mac cosmetics and didn't add my personal thoughts, as it all depends on what "Look " you are going for.  FIRST Quality, AUTHENTIC Mac IS Available on Ebay amoungest the recent influx of counterfeit "junk".  As always - My advice is, "get to know the seller and ask questions". There ARE great Mac sellers on Ebay, take the time to empower yourself with all the knowledge you can to avoid purchase of Fake product or legit product you DID NOT want.

LIPSTICK FINISHES

AMPLIFIED CREME

Ultra-creamy.  Quietly shiny.  COLOUR-packed! Hi-res: hi-impact.

FROST

Excellent colour payoff with medium to high frosted shimmer-and-shine finish.

GLAZE

Low-colour impact with sheen-style finish. Glazes the lips, makes them shine !

LIP TREATMENT

Colour-free. Texture-free. Provides natural healthy-looking lips.

LUSTRE

Demi-sheer with wet-look lustre finish. Very slick. Makes lips look soft, smooth, ultra-moist.

MATTE

Pigment rich with intense colour pay-off. No-shine, all matte finish.

SATIN

Colour-rich. Soft satin, semi-matte finish. Conditions while adding intense colour.

SHEER

Colour-light with sheer, near translucent, naturally-tinted finish.

Mac lipstick is all about color and texture. It was formulated for the run way and "modeling" work-so it does stand out on runways and the streets.  YES, there really is a difference in Lipsticks. "High End" make up is well worth the investment, it really is. Certain products CANNOT be found "as good" in the drugstore and BE just "as good".  Some can.   Make-up application also is an art.  So PRACTICE with techniques and various liners, shades, etc. The first time you try for Angelina Jolie's lip look- may not happen- so with some patience and some research, I promise you will obtain a GREAT look.  As always, please feel free to email me with any questions about product or concerns about "counterfeit" Mac- REAL Ebayers always help each other out. This company (Ebay)was founded on the inherent premise of "the goodness in all of us". Let's not let a recent influx of junk and unscrupulous sellers wreck what so many GREAT  Ebayers have brought to this site. Thanks.  I'd also love a vote for helpfulness, if you would take the time to make an additional click, as an avid Ebayer, it lets me know if this is something that helped or not.
