How to tell if your MAC products are REAL and How OLD they are based on MAC product codes.
The first letter signifies the production run that month - A was the first run, B the second run and so forth.
The second letter or number signifies the month of production:
1 = January
2 = February
3 = March
4 = April
5 = May
6 = June
7 = July
8 = August
9 = September
A = October
B = November
C = December
The final number indicates the year of production.
This may help you understand why some older products cost more as they are no longer available. You should also use caution based on the type of product that it is for example: Consider expiration dates on all skin care products especially those with SPF.
Avoid getting THE SHIPPING BLUES OR BUYERS REMORSE by sellers who will not combine shipping and handling for you. New items are listed every day, so don't worry if you miss one or two chances! Your deals will come. I have learned the hard/easy ways!
