I am have owned a M-Audio Projectmix for about 4 months now and I must say it is most amazing piece. It is interface with 8 phantom powered mic inputs and 9 line inputs, 1 midi input, 1 midi output, adat, world clock and also th. One line input is phantom powers so you can record a guitar straight into the project mix to the software. You can run a guitar amp simulation software called Amplitube and make it sound absolutely amazing. I like to use Cubase SX3 with this piece. It also works with many other softwares such as, Pro Tools, Logic, all the Cubases, Abelton Live, Sonar and any software that supports control surfaces. The quality is outstanding. What a great piece for the money! The quality is equal or better than the digidesign interface and the mackie control. The automation is very nice and smooth and one other feature of the Project MIx is that you can name each channel and see it with the bright lcd screen. You can access pretty much everything in the music production software without even having to touch the computer. It is very high tech and impressive looking. if you are looking for quality, design, feature, ease of use, quality and at a great price, this is the piece to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
