This is about Lowes discounts . There are several discounts.
1) You sign up as moving. Lowes (and Home Depot) send you a discount for ten percent (Lowes) or 20 % off.
2) You use a scan coupon at one and then take a copy to the other and they accept competitor coupon. This gets around the only used once and other terms like must pay with Visa or be a contractor..
3) Sign ups. if you sign up for certain promotions you get a discount. Right now there is a life takes visa discount of $10 of $50. This expires June 30th 2008. You can also sign up for . a Lowes Gardening site and get coupons..but they are not instant.
NONE of the offers has an instant coupons so you need to give yourself 24 to 48 hours. And if this does not work, call the 800 customer support number...and don't try to get more than one coupon per IP address. I never got mine..and customer support said they were sending one and it is not here...bummer. Two weeks later and it still is not here. I called customer service again. THREE CALLS to LOWES customer service.
4) I HAVE successfully bought both Home Depot and Lowes coupons off Ebay. My best guess is these were the movers coupons in number one above. There are a number of buying guides talking about fake coupons. If you are worried, get a mover discount yourself or try a search for Lowes coupon. Most of the coupons these days require a bar code scan. I'm not an expert, but I've never known Lowes to have more than a 10% off coupon. So most of the 20% Lowes coupons are really home depot being provided as LIKELY accepted competitor coupons.
I know someone (wink wink) that bought some of the lowes project coupons ($10 of $25)..for Life Takes Visa. These were emailed and worked like a charm. I'm still waiting for Lowes customer service to mail me my coupon. Thank Goodness for EBAY sellers. You rock!!
