If you're looking for a good mystery, yet you're not sure which one you'd like, then read on fellow bookworm. I've put together a list that tells you a little bit about several of my favorite mysteries on my shelves. Ginny Aiken: Design on a Crime, Decorating Schemes, & Interior Motives This series is about an interior decorator who stumbles on murders every time she turns around. Dealing with pain from her past, Haley is reluctant to get involved with a man, but that doesn't stop the sparks from flying between her and the contractor that gets hired for several of the same jobs that she does. When you add the pink haired grandmother figure that thinks she's Columbo, these books will keep you turning page after page. Definitely comedy and mystery. Scary Rating: 2 

Mindy Starns Clark: The Trouble With Tulip, Blind Dates Can Be Murder, & Elementary, My Dear Watkins Romance & Mystery, the best combination in my book (no pun intended). This author has a delightful way of writing. She gives you insight into the main character's thoughts, making her come to life from the pages. In this series you will tag along with Tulip as she writes her tips column, stumbles onto mysteries and deals with the hurt of parents that care more about business than their daughter's happiness. These books are drama, mystery and romance all in one. Scary Rating: 3

Brandylin Collins: Brink of Death, Stain of Guilt, Dead of Night, & Web of Lies Brandylin Collins is called a "seatbelt suspense" writer for a reason. These books are so good! The main character Annie is a single mother of 2 teenage children who realizes she has a gift to become a forensic scetch artist. The main challenge is keeping her family safe from the evils that lurk in the darkness. You will read about several trials in her life and how she finds faith in God. These books are not for the faint of heart.   Scary Rating: 8

Dee Henderson: The Negotiator, The Guardian, The Truth Seeker, The Protector, The Healer, & The Rescuer I have read this series over and over again. Each of these books is about a different member of the O'Malley family. Kate is a negotiator, Marcus is a U.S. Marshall, Lisa is a Forensic Pathologist, Jack is a fireman, Rachel is a Doctor, Stephen is a Paramedic. Each book will keep you on the edge of your seat as this family faces many storms of life (murder, death, kidnapping, stalking...) yet remain close. You'll feel like you know each of the characters in these books! Scary Rating: 6
