The Great American Railroad series was one of the last produced by Marx. Most of these were made in the mid 1970's. Most sets have a one of a kind car in them that came only in one set. Quaker Oats had taken over the reign of Marx by now. Here are the main dozen sets listed in case some of you Marx enthusiasts were curious. There are a couple of sets made under two different set numbers, but still have a similar consist.
The three sets below are very collectible.
