There are a whole bunch of watches called Louis Bolle, or some smililar title, with a fancy flash web site which generally crashes and some laughable meaningless junk European history about how Louis Bolle grew up in Saint Gervais in Switzerland 300 years ago etc etc. Saint Gervais is in France and has no history of watch making. In this way the company is conning people, creating a fake history and linking it with Swiss watch making in order to add authenticity and value. As I understand the watches are generally well made in China, the company marketing and selling them are based in the U.S. In China you could easily get a watch of similar quality for about $50 or less. These guys see watches like Omega and Cartier etc and then market their watches as if they are of the same quality and history. They're not. I bought one and had it taken apart. Its reasonably well made and ok as a watch, but obviously is not worth anything like the $$$$ advertised as an MSP. That would be like me trying to market an Ford as a Rolls Royce. Thats basically whats behind this business. I'm not saying its a scam, anybody can say anything is worth anything and as long as your not paying too much for it then you'll generally get an ok watch. Oh, one thing I always notice is everywhere someone comments on Louis Bolle or similar watch (there's a whole bunch of these type of companies) there's a counter comment saying how good they, I wonder if this is also part of their marketing strategy. Hats off to them though, they're making good money.
