Loomstate- A Guide to Loomstate & Fashion
Loomstate fashion has made their mark by using only 100 percent organic cotton in all of their apparel. Their mission to create beautiful clothing while focusing on the sustainability of the planet's resources and ecosystem makes them unique in the fashion world. All of their fabrics are woven with organic raw cotton yarn with methods similar to those used over 200 years ago, before the era of industrialized farming.
All of their organic cotton is grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Conventionally grown cotton often contributes to environmental pollution and health hazards, mostly through the amounts and types of pesticides used. Many of them may be carcinogenic, and at least half of the most commonly used pesticides in the cotton industry are toxic to humans and the environment.
Loomstate fashions have been featured in every major fashion magazine, from Vogue to Vanity Fair, Bazaar to InStyle. Among their most popular low-rise jeans are the Morpho style, which features a trouser fit with a flare leg, and the Mantra, which provides women with a slim fitting boot cut. For those who prefer a more relaxed fit, both the Credence (which has flaps over the back pockets) and Hectare styles have wider legs for increased comfort.
Loomstate also has a selection of tops in their fashion collection. Many of them feature prints of animals and other scenes from nature, like rolling waves. Like Loomstate jeans, the shirts are made from organic cotton and designed for a soft and comfortable fit. Some of the same tee-shirt designs have also been made into hoodies by Loomstate.
