Longitude Brand Swimsuits and Swimwear is a brand of swimsuits. Many people think when they see the word Longitude that it means a long fitting swimsuit, but that is not correct.

Longitude brand swimsuits are  " Proportioned both Vertically and Horizontally to give full coverage and length needed to prevent riding up". They are made to fit all figures, but they fit taller figures as well as short figures.

Bandeau: A bandeau style swimsuit is a tank style swimsuit that can be worn strapless and usually comes with a removable single halter style strap. They  have a built-in padded bra that comes in either a B cup or a C cup in the Misses sizes.  They usually have a design on the front in striping or diagonal pattern that slims the body. They come with a built-in tummy control panel that slims the middle and are proportioned to fit both vertically and horizontally so that they do not ride up or fit uncomfortably. This style comes with a moderate leg opening (not hi-cut).

Tank Style:  A tank style swimsuit is what would be considered a traditional style swimsuit. These come with built-in tummy control panel, soft molded cup bra that fits size B Cup or Size C cup. Plus sizes are also available. They have a moderate leg opening (not hi-cut), straps, and usually have a print pattern or striped front design that gives a slimming illusion. This style swimsuit comes in straight neckline, v-neckline, plunge v-neckline, and a U-neckline.

Surplice: A surplice swimsuit is usually a one piece tank style swimsuit that in most cases will have the look of being a two-piece swimsuit with a diagonal design or print. Some of this style of swimsuit will look like a 2-piece tankini with a diagonal hemline to the top portion hemline with a print top and a solid bottom but this will be a one-piece swimsuit. Sometimes a surplice will be a one-piece swimsuit with a diagonal stripe or pattern on the front of the suit. Sometimes it will be a one-piece swimsuit that has a wrap look where there will be a solid and a print that looks as if it wraps around the suit.

The purpose of a surplice swimsuit is to give a diagonal print, pattern, or design to give the appearance of a slimmer look as well as take attention away from taller torsos or shorter torsos (it works with both figures).

Lengthwise: Lengthwise style swimsuits can come in one piece shortini styles, tankini look of 2 piece but is actually a one piece and tank style swimsuits. The purpose of a lengthwise swimsuit is that the swimsuit is cut usually 2 inches longer to cover longer torso figures. They usually have the same styles as the surplice with a diagonal wrap or design to take attention away from the longer torso drawing the eye upward and giving the illusion a shorter figure. This style also comes in Plus Sizes

Plus size swimsuits: Longitude Brand Swimsuits makes swimsuits for every figure including plus size figures. The plus size swimsuits will fit to size C bra Cup or size D Bra cup depending on the swimsuit. The plus size swimwear comes in the Shortini Style, Lengthwise, Tank, or Surplice.

Skirtini Style Swimsuit: A skirtini Style Swimsuit is the same as the shortini style except the bottom is a 14 inch skirt with attached brief rather than shorts. The top styles are exactly the same.

Overall:  Longitude brand Swimsuits are a top quality swimsuit that puts attention on sizing both vertically and horizontally as well as narrowing down each style to a particular bra cup size by style.  The prints are very vibrant and most prints carry a foil or metallic to bring the print out and give it a richer look.  The fabrics are the conventional 85% Nylon/15% Lycra except in the shorts which are usually 100% Nylon.
