Well, I just purchased a new set of Desktop Speakers. 2.1 Surround sound. (Couldn't find a good set of 5.1's anywhere, not to mention I don't watch many movies on my PC in stereo sound). So I took down my Creative Inspires, and hooked these up, and damn....what a sound... I can turn it up or keep it low.... the sounds are amazing. Awesome investment. The volume control is a dial like most home theatre systems and has the power button on the controller. The bass controls are there too. Another big selling feature for me is the headphone port in the controller module. There is even a port for an MP3 player. I can just plug in the player and listen. (I know, most of the MP3's should be on the PC already, but you never know.
