Logitech Wireless DJ Music System:

Well this is my first review and it will be my initial impression, set up and testing. I am not a pro audiophille, just like you I just love my music and got tired of being forced to listen to it on my PC speakers...UGH!

I recently won this unit from seller sarabethe1 for $149.99 + $15 ship. This seller is relatively new to selling but is very reliable and trusted. The MSRP on these units $250.00 + ship and tax.

I paid for my item and waited. In a few days it arrived and I opened the package. The retail packaging is impressive. Well displayed. Once opened my initial impression was that this unit, especially the handheld console was very well built. High quality no doubt. The illuminated display of your music selection is big enough to manage and select your song.

It took me all of 15 minutes to get this up and running. Simple plug n' play with great results. I had over 461 songs that I transferred from my home pc music folder to the desktop interface which automatically gives you the option to update your playlist so it displays on the handheld console.

For the longest time I was searching for a convenient way to play my MPG music collection saved on my HDrive on my home theatre system: Denon 2802 6.1 with Magnepan front and left and Bose like surround speakers accompanied by my Jensen Powered Sub! I connected the transmitter to my aux in CD on the Denon using L & R RCA jacks. (Sorry no digital connector but sounds super great anyway)

All I can say is "WOW" - It uses a very stable transmitter with USB connection!

NOTE: Works with Windows XP Home or Pro with Service Pack 1 - Does not work with Windows 2000 Pro!

Its does not require a Network connection. It does not require high tech savvy. Just simple directions and play your favorite music on your high priced, highly prized Home Stereo...Oh I almost forgot - You can move the reciever to ANY ROOM IN THE HOUSE FOR USE ON ANY STEREO THAT USES RCA JACKS without additional software! How cool is that!

You can play virtually any type of music without restriction.

Pricing: Before I purchased this unit I googled it and found other Etailers selling it new from $161 - $249 but the mean price was $189 - Not bad especially for the quality.

Well, that's it. If I think of more, I will add later......

Good luck.
