The Logisys Streamline illuminated keyboard is the overall best keyboard I've ever used on a PC.
I ordered one after my Dell keyboard died (I do a lot of writing on the computer). I need an illuminated keyboard because I do some writing at night in dim light because I can think better.
This Logisys keyboard is nice. The keys have a better tactile feel than my Dell keyboard had, without being "clacky" like an IBM keyboard.
Illumination is a soft blue color that is consistent under all keys, and can be turned on/off from a small push-button switch in the upper right corner.
This keyboard has nine special keys along the top for various internet functions, but I haven't used them.
The three indicator lights are a little on the bright side, so I put a double layer of 3M Durapore translucent adhesive tape across them.
Overall it is a great quality keyboard at an economical price from DC-NET.
Update 8-14-2007: This was a great keyboard... for a while. After a couple of months of heavy use some resistance developed in the keys... which is bad for a touch-typist like me. Probably still a great keyboard for one-finger-at-a-time typing.
I've now gone to... believe it or not... a good ole rugged... clacky... IBM keyboard. Found a 42H1292 in superb condition at a local computer store... for $5. What a steal!
... and I absolutely love it. For a touch-typist it's like playing on a Yamaha grand piano. Wonderful feel. Typing on it right now.
Oh, by the way, since then I've found a Steinway grand... an IBM 1391401... in great condition. I won't tell you what I paid for it.... except that it was in the single digits... low single digits :)
