Living Healthy is life
Stretching is one of the most misused exercise. It's important to stretch before and after each exercise; when you get up in the morning and before going to bed. This promotes blood flow and improves flexibility.
IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT
A good first morning stretch helps to wake up our sleeping muscles and get our body ready for the days activities. It further allows our bodies to regulate waste which it has been actively processing while we slept. Futhermore for those whom tends to sleep on one side of our body it helps increase blood flow to those starving muscles. Prior to going to bed it is also important to stretch. Why you ask? Well it increases the sleep endorphines needed to place the body in a more relaxed mode in order to recoup and reenergize itself.
BEFORE AND AFTER PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
A light streching helps to warm the muscles up prior to increasing the your activity. This lets your body knows that there's a demand of energy that will be required of it soon.
TRY THIS NOW.
Go ahead Stand up! Place place your heels together hands down to your side..for a count of 20 seconds..inhale while raising your arms above your head. then lower your arms slowly to your side while exhaling . NEXT without bouncing or bending your knees touch your toes(as close as you can get)while exhaling. hold for 20 sec.
REPEAT 2 more times then do it again only this time your feet will be shoulder width apart.
How does that feel!!! You can do this at work just before lunch or if you have been sitting for a while.
