While shopping on E-Bay, many times you may find an item or items that you really like but are hesitant to register for a live auction.  Fear not.  All you have to do is check the feedback of the seller, read the terms and conditions, and if you agree, go for it!  There are no hidden charges, all should be explained in the terms and conditions. As far as buyers premiums, ( the percetage of the selling price that the seller charges for the right to bid and participate in the auction) some may seem high.  For  example,  Imagine the cost of travel, room and board, and all other associated expence of attending a auction in New Orleans, when you reside in Seattle! 17or 18 percent becomes inexpensive.  Register and watch a Live Auction,  then you will understand how it works!
