I may just live in a state of paranoia but I am concerned about the Littlest Pet Shops listed on eBay from China sellers.
They are sold loose.
How are we to know if the Pet Shop toy is an authentic one that was made specifically for Hasbro?
If by chance, they are not authentic, how would we know if the paint they are using contains lead?
Fisher Price had to recall quite a few Dora the Explorer toys because they contained an unsafe level of lead in the paint.
And, they were made in China FOR Fisher Price.
Who polices the toys - sold on eBay - from other countries? I understand we purchase toys in the United Sates made in other countries.
At least, here, the toy companies are held responsible for selling a safe product.
I wanted to call attention to people with children who may purchase these toys directly from another country, thinking they're getting
a good deal, but in reality may be buying a toy unfit for your their child to play with. Better safe than sorry!
