Liquidation of Empire

A magnificent book in German language dealing with the German Propaganda forgeries during the second world war.
Under the assumed "Unternehmen Wasserwelle" Himmler had the security police of the third Reich produce propaganda forgeries. This did take place partly in the National Bureau of Printing in Berlin? And partly in the concentration camp Sachsenhausen.
Within this camp, in a restricted area, specialists in printing and forgery were gathered. They were inmates from other concentration camps and prisons from all over Germany who in this way were "promoted".
All kinds of documents were manufactured, such as; passports, bank notes and even British stamps too. These forged British stamps were made for propaganda purposes and are examined and described through the magnifying glass in this handbook.
The book shows the largest know multiples and part sheets of King George stamps with crosses and colored bars and the sheets and the reader learns how to plate the stamps in sheets.
80 pages, size 285x 230 mm
A highly recommended addition to the library of every collector of propaganda forgeries.
