I just read "Liquidation.com Chapter One", and I wholeheartedly agree with the shabby treatment the writer wrote about.
Our scenario was quite similar. We initially won several auctions and spent about $30,000 on the site. Then we won a particular auction at a very good price. We paid and were informed that the shipment was scheduled with UPS. Then a few days later, it was cancelled. We called the customer relations people to find out why and were given the "runaround", but never a good explanation. We called again to ask for a supervisor and was told that a supervisor would call us. That call never came, even after repeated calls from us.
We tried working with Liquidation.com again, and more cancellations of low price wins came our way. Again, no explantions at all.
There are many other very good sources on the Internet which we have used and will NEVER use Liquidation.com again. I honestly feel that if they don't get a minimum bid on an auction, they simply cancel it. All of our cancelled acutions were posted again and all were won at higher prices than we had won them at. This could not possibly be a coincidence.
We have always been treated fairly and professionally by ebay clients. Liquidation.com does not have the safeguards in their bidding system that ebay'ers abide by.
