Liquid- A Guide to Liquid & Fashion

Liquid fashion designs are reminiscent of classic styles from the 1970s.  However, unlike vintage clothing that is from an earlier era, Liquid designs have been updated to combine a modern look with retro inspirations.  From flowing dresses to trench coats, Liquid fashion is a popular choice among fashionable women looking for classic and elegant designs.

One of the most recognizable pieces of Liquid's collection is the trench coat, introduced by Thomas Burberry in 1901.  While originally designed for military officers, the trench coat quickly gained popularity among men when it was donned by actors such as Humphrey Bogart in The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca.  Liquid has updated the design for women, adding a tie belt closure to the double breasted design, allowing it to retain the classic look while making it more contemporary.  Unlike the simple black or tan trench coats of yesteryear, Liquid makes them available in a variety of colors such as pink and coral.

In addition to the colors that they have available, their trench coats are also available in a number of retro patterns.  Among these are polka dot designs and floral patterns.  These same designs are found on many of Liquid's vintage-inspired sleeveless dresses and pleated skirts.

Liquid's designs, however, are as contemporary as they are classic.  The abstract square design on their "Mr. Big" dress is both casual and sophisticated.  In addition, their shiny halter tops and velvet striped jackets can be worn together or paired with other garments to create a unique modern look.
