Lincoln Mark LT Review

Lincoln extended their line of luxury vehicles into trucks with the Lincoln Mark LT- and it is a fantastic truck - although its pricey. The Mark LT replaced the failed 2002-only Lincoln Blackwood, Lincoln's only other pickup truck.



I had the chance to take a look at the Mark LT at my local Mercury-Lincoln dealership and it is built like the Aviator in that it is the luxury edition of the Ford F-150 Truck. The Ford line has Ford as the base, Mercury as the luxury Ford, and Lincoln as the luxury Mercury. For the Ford Explorer, for instance, the Mercury model is the Mountaineer and the Lincoln Aviator. While they share the same body - the interiors are drastically different as are the prices.

The Lincoln Mark LT is distinctly attractive in that it has a very bold body line and strong, chrome grill. The cab is long enough to be effective and useful - yet the truck still has four doors and plenty of space. The interior is exquisite - great leather, the signature Lincoln clock, and the engine packs plenty of power.

In buying a Mark LT - you might have some trouble only because there is a very limited supply. Whether its at your local dealer on eBay motors - there is limited supply as only a matter of 1,000s were produced. On eBay right now - as an example - there are only three Lincoln Mark LTs available. My preference is the black body and white leather interior - and of course do it up with some big rims =)
