Limited edition prints are more collectable than what are called open editions where thousands of copies are prouced ie,Monets Water Lillies
They are more collectable if published by one of the UK's top publishers-there are less than 6 publishers in question
Quality of paper printed on makes a difference to the end quality
If the above is followed when the print sells out from the publisher it will usually increase in value
Sold out copies are found on the "secondary market" ie EBay has many or specialist dealers or a member of the public selling the odd item
Artist proof signed copies are worth more tahn standard limited edition
Prints on board may be worth more
Prints on canvas are definitely worth more
USA Copies. Washington Green publisher -sells their artists work in the USA -they have no less value than UK sold limited editions.
