Let's Put the Bite on Shipping Charge Ripoffs!
You've Seen them, You maybe have purchased from them. I have.
The sharpie who wants to suck you in to a low price that won't hold up after he holds you up on shipping charges.
These Ebayers are trying to accomplish the above, however, more damagingly, the are circumventing Ebay fees!
I saw a Schoolhouse clock on a recent search listed as a Buy-It-Now of $.99. It sounded great until I got to the shipping. This guy wanted over $50.00 to ship this 5 lb. Item. He gets to pay Ebay fees on One Buck!, send the item by the slowest and cheapest means possible and pocket over $40.00 without paying proper fees to Ebay. This tactic is commonly used. I am sick and tired of seeing this.
I have a direct competitor that does this, so, I guess I have a grudge, but this is important!
I call for a boycott of any seller
who engages in shipping games.
Ebay is a great medium to sell things. They charge fees to pay their considerable expenses, employees and, of course, our beloved government taxes, Federal, State and Local. It is just flat wrong to screw around with Ebay fees like so many sellers have. Everybody wants to get the edge. This is not the way! Buy smarter. Use merchants who follow the rules and pull their weight in the Ebay seller community.
