Leather is a popular choice for furniture with a wide range of prices & quality. First check if item is "real" or man made faux leather. Is the item FULL leather or partial? You want to select an item that will allow you to use it for years and not show wear quickly.With that in mind also be prepared to take proper care of your new furniture. Do not position the item in direct sunlight or close to sources of heat, this will cause drying, no matter the quality. When cleaning make sure you are using leather cleaner for the particular stain, ie oil based stain. This will ensure a longer life for the piece. Some cheaper leather furniture is so thin that it cracks prior to loosing the NEW purchase feel.
