The purpose of this guide is to provide information on becoming a Trading Assistant.   Within this guide, I have included handy links to useful information found right here on eBay.  Mainly for my benefit; however, there might be others out there that could use the links for themselves.  I plan to update this guide periodically with information that I come across and feel is relevant to the subject.

What is a Trading Assistant?  They are sellers who sell things for others.  Consignment sales, usually for a commission--which varies from seller to seller.  They are not employed, endorsed, or approved by eBay.  To learn the requirements for becoming one, you can click Trading Assistant.

So, now you want to learn more?  EBay has a plethora of information.  I love to search out and read items in the Community Pages.  There I found the Discussion Board and discovered even more Trading Assistant information.  There are many different topics covered.  If you are interested in one particular facet of being a Trading Assistant, you can search it and read the threads on the topic.

Have you checked out eBay's Workshops yet?  On the Workshop Calendar you can see what's coming up.  From there you can also check out what workshops have already run in the archives.  There's more than just Trading Assistant information there, so be prepared to learn.

We're here to hone in on Trading Assistant information, so I don't want to get too far off base.  In the Discussion forum there is a thread with several links to archived workshops discussing various topics related to being or finding a Trading Assistant.  I found the thread to be useful since most of the workshops on Trading Assistants are there.  However, it omitted a couple of the more recent topics covered.

I have read all of the Trading Assistant workshops and found that the information is priceless.  Being a Trading Assistant can open you up to a source of goods to sell on eBay without the "out of pocket" expenses that come with buying wholesale; the stresses of drop-shipping and depending on your source to handle your goods; or the dilemma of parting with your own treasured items just to make a buck.

Are you ready to sign up?  If you meet the requirements, you can sign up as a Trading Assistant here!  Also, take some time to read about Trading Assistants in your area for comparison purposes.

Thank you for reading my guide.  I hope you found a link that points you to the information you're seeking.  If you have any information you would like to add, or a useful link, please feel free to do so on my Blog.
