While you may sell far more than $15.00 a week on Ebay (after fees and other expenses are factored in), just for the sake of argument, let's say you are so busy you can only list one or two items a week and clear $15.00 a week, after all is said and done. Think that is a paltry sum? Think again!
Here's how it would break down:
Starting Balance - $0
Amount earned - $15.00 a week or $60 a month
If you saved it all and had an annual yield of 6% (certainly possible) and we had an inflation rate of 4%, you'd earn this much in ONE year:
$753.71 -
NOT IMPRESSED? Okay, LET'S MOVE ON:
IN FIVE YEARS, same $60 a month, building on that $753.71:
You'd have $4602.73. Sounds BETTER already, doesn't it - and keep in mind this is for a relatively small amount of sales per month.
IN TEN YEARS:
$11,828.31
Hmmmmm....makes you think, doesn't it? Start small, keep saving, build your sales and you can make quite a bit over time!
