FIRST! The pen is not electronic AT ALL! If the screen does not seem to be working with your stylus pen (for instance, you click one part of the screen and it clicks a totally different part), you may need to calibrate the screen! Put a cartridge in, turn the system on, and when the sign in screen comes up, press the HOME, HINT, and B buttons at the same time. When the screen changes, press the A button. Follow the directions.
